Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’, Halle Bailey is ready to drop her debut album project ‘Love? Or Something Like It’ which is scheduled to drop in this October.

Versatile music artist Halle Bailey started her musical journey quite early in her life, and now, she is ready to release her debut album project called ‘Love? Or Something Like It’. Just like the name suggests, the artist has offered a journey of emotional self-exploration through this music project, which will also reflect a fair portion of the artist’s own life experiences.

Halle joined the music business in her pre-teen phase, and she received a significant amount of success with the duo projects along with her sister, Chloe X Halle. It is time for the artist to drop her own album project, and her solo musical journey has just begun. A moody trailer for the album has also been dropped to tease the project. She dropped the trailer on Instagram with the caption, “A story of first love, heartbreak, and everything that comes after. Out 10/24. This one means everything to me.”

The trailer is 38 seconds long, and Halle could be seen wearing a gorgeous red dress and telling a story, “Once upon a time, there was a young girl who believed in love. She believed everyone belonged to someone, soul for soul. All she ever wanted in life was to find the truest form of love. Was it ever possible? And here’s what happened,” and that was enough to create some major anticipation.

Halle gained a huge amount of exposure and popularity in her career before even dropping her solo full-length album, as she was starring in the live-action adaptation of Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’. She played the lead role of Ariel. Before the release of her upcoming debut album, she had already offered a handful of single projects that warmed the fans up for the full-length album release. “In Your Hands” and “Because I Love You” are the two most popular tracks from her discography. Her recent collaboration with Leon Thomas for the song “Rather Be Alone” has already proved its worth among the listeners.

On the other hand, Halle’s talented sister Chloe has already dropped two albums to date. She dropped ‘In Pieces’ back in 2023, and in the next year, she released ‘Trouble In Paradise’. Chole is also currently a mother with a child with rapper DDG, but the relationship did not last, unfortunately.

Halle’s upcoming album ‘Love? Or Something Like It’ is scheduled to be released on October 24 this year under the label of Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records.
