Maroon 5 all set to drop their new album ‘Jordi’ as a tribute to their late manager

One of the most popular new millennium bands, Maroon 5 who has mesmerized the audience with their brilliant records so far, is all set to drop their new album on June 11 and this one is going to be extra special.

The band told Ellen DeGeneres on April 29th, that there was no better way to pay tribute to their late manager Jordan Feldstein, who died at the age of 40 than to name their seventh record after him.

The album ‘Jordi’ is all set to hit the screen on June 11th and has been named after their late manager who Adam Levine considers to be great, fabulous, and an amazing ex-manager. Unfortunately, Jordan (ex-manager) passed away a few years ago in 2017 of a pulmonary embolism.

The album is named after him and the band has built this thing together. Levine posted on his social media handle alongside the cover art that a piece of him shall always be missing. He also shared his feelings stating that the loss is tragic in various ways and that he is still learning ways to cope up with the loss. And, therefore all he could do is to keep him alive and honor him in the best way he knows, which is music.

The collection will feature Maroon 5’s Megan Thee Stallion collaboration ‘Beautiful Mistakes’ and to hype the album’s released, the band has also announced to hold a virtual concert ahead of the release of the album. To tease the audience the band released a glimpse of the coming virtual performance. ‘American Express UNSTAGED with Maroon 5’ ON 4TH June that will feature the songs from the upcoming new album.

The album, ‘Jordi’ has been executive produced by J Kash and shall also feature the singles ‘Nobody’s Love’ and 2019 single ‘Memories’, the latter song was also homage to Feldstein.

Levine also shared a short conversation with DeGeneres about their long history on the show and how he loved quarantining at home with his daughters, and wife, and also the painful process he had to endure before he got his leg tattoo done, and his final word on Blake Shelton’s upcoming wedding.

Speaking on the album, he said that he misses his ex-manager every single day and that he is very proud to have his name etched into the history of the band.

The band also performed ‘Beautiful Mistakes’ for Ellen.

Maroon 5 also posted their tour dates starting August 10 in Auburn, Wash, running till October.
