Sam Smith Announced the Release of ‘Hazel Eyes’ While Dropping ‘My Guy’

Sam Smith is coming back with a massive release for all. They announced the release of the new album ‘Hazel Eyes’ and released a new single, named ‘My Guy’.

Sam Smith announced the release of his fifth music album, ‘Hazel Eyes’. The album is about to be released on 21^st August via Capitol Records. This music album is co-produced with David Odlum and Simon Aldred. The announcement of the release has made all their fans more excited than ever. Sam is going to offer a total of 12 soundtracks with this album. The songs have been made in collaboration with Feist, Rob Moose, and ShahzadIsmaily. The album was partly recorded at Electric Lady Studios. And it has been described in a press release as ‘a heartfelt ode to the city of New York, which Sam now calls home’.

Sam even added ‘This album is an incredibly special record to me. I have been writing it for over three years with a very small group of beautiful, dear friends of mine. This album is very personal, and I feel I have deepened myself as an artist through the making of it, through being a producer on the record, to walking alongside this record from the start to the finish and pushing myself at every single turn. This record and this music are incredibly romantic. I’ve learned so many life lessons through making this album, and I’ve documented it all through the music’.

Along with the album release announcement, Sam even offered a new track, named ‘My Guy’. It has been co-written by Ismaily, Smith, and Feist. The song is quite unique in many ways, and that is why audiences loved it as well. Sam stated ‘This is a song that I feel I have been waiting a lifetime to write and sing. Written with beautiful friends on a summer’s day in New York, this one fell out of the sky. In this sometimes cold and distant world, I hope you can feel the love and the closeness of this recording. I tried to capture the glow and the warmth of love in this one, it makes me cry, maybe it will make you feel a little love too’.

Therefore, the song is not only loved by the audiences by it is also really special for Sam as well. The very last album of this music artist was ‘Gloria’, which was released in 2023. The song ‘Unholy’ was featured in this album, and it is known by all that what a brilliant piece of music it was. Thus, everyone is aware of the fact that Sam is an excellent music artist.
