Renaissance World Tour: Beyoncé Brings Megan Thee Stallion To Perform “Savage Remix” Live

In Houston, the duo finally performed their Grammy-winning song. The excitement of the Texas native crowd reached sky-high when they saw the power-packed ‘Savage’ performance.

Beyoncé is about to close her Renaissance World Tour, as she performs some of her final shows of the tour in her hometown Houston, another fellow Houstonian joined. It was on Saturday night when Megan Thee Stallion came along to perform their ‘Savage Remix’ together. The footage of this live collaboration went viral right away. Fans have been expecting Megan to join the tour but all of their anticipation was answered by the duo this weekend with smoking red vibes flowing everywhere.

Their live ‘Savage’ collaboration at the NRG Stadium on 23rd September, on Saturday night, made the crowd go mad with their entry. This 2020 track reached no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the crowd in the stadium went gaga over the dup performing that iconic number. As she was emerging on the stage in her glorious black and silver quirky attire, she uttered “I’m that b—-. Been that b—-, still that b—-. Will forever be that b—-”, and this was the beginning of this power-packed show. She said, “What’s up, Houston?” engaging the already invested crowd.

This Beyoncé tour has seen several surprise guests including Kendrick Lamar, Diana Ross, and her daughter, Blue Ivy. The next show of this concert is on the 27th of September, which will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The world tour is scheduled to end on this coming Sunday, on 1st of October at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Megan Thee Stallion dropped this original version of ‘Savage’ in March 2020 and the following month Megan and Beyoncé released a remixed version of this song. The remixed version became more popular than the original one, and this track earned her several nominations that year. These nominations include Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Record of the Year, at the 2021 Grammy Awards.

 

Megan was awarded with the Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song. And the winner of the Best Record of the Year Billie Eilish said that she should win that award as well. The crowd applauded this statement impressing they agreed to this statement. Megan Thee Stallion has recently released ‘Bongos’ with Cardi B. And together they performed the song at the MTV Video Music Awards. She also popped in a teaser for the new season of ‘Big Mouth’.

On 23rd September, she was originally scheduled to perform at New York City’s Global Citizen Festival. The fest was about to take place in Central Park on Saturday, but earlier this month it was announced that the rapper was “no longer available to perform,” citing “an unforeseen scheduling conflict.” But every Houston concert attendee has been overjoyed once Megan elicited to the stage.
