Sabrina Carpenter Arrests Anne Hathaway at NYC Concert

The pop industry and Hollywood have merged together as singer Sabrina Carpenter has playfully arrested actress Anne Hathaway. Carpenter noticed Hathaway among the audience when she was performing for the Short N’ Sweet tour concert in New York. The aftereffect of this incident is so magical that it can become a part of the Disney Princess story.

During her set, Carpenter paused her performance and made a quick survey of the audience, and finally found Anne Hathaway sitting amongst the crowd. Anne effortlessly blended in with the crowd. A video on social media could be found where Sabrina turned to her microphone and said to Hathaway, “What’s your name? Sorry, never heard of you like that.”

Anne played along and acted surprised when Sabrina exclaimed, “You’re Anne! Wow!” and the audience loved it very much. Then she became a bit flirty, saying, “I just don’t know what to do when I see a face like that in the crowd… has anyone ever told you that you look like a princess?” The pop star quoting lines from The Princess Diaries is not something the audience expected, and it was a complete treat to watch for the fans.

Sabrina made sure this sketch went further as the audience resonated with it. She brought a pair of toy handcuffs and leaned forward to tease Anne Hathaway and said, “Did they arrest you for being the first princess in the world?”

This playful act made the audience go nuts as Anne Hathaway is originally a princess, and she got arrested for “offenses related to royal blood” in Genovia. Not sure if Anne Hathaway was awkward or too happy as Sabrina shouted along with the crowd, “You’re Anne, everybody!”

In the next moment, the popstar seamlessly emerged in the performances and transitioned to her next song, ‘Juno’ as if the whole comedic sketch was part of the event, but it was nothing but a spontaneous act of two princesses praising each other. The moment was well captured by the fans, and the video clips went viral on social media within a few minutes.

Sabrina Carpenter arresting Anne Hathaway for being a princess is nothing but a pop culture relic that fans go crazy for, and a blend of the music and acting industry, making this even glorious. Whether it is the feminine urge to appreciate other women or not, Sabrina sure made the whole situation more wholesome.
