Taylor Swift tries to be Santa Clause to as many people as she can by providing necessary donations. She is putting her best efforts to spread festive joy as the vilest year is coming to an end. She has donated $13,000 to two separate mothers when she found GoFundMe pages after glancing over a Washington Post article. It highlights those Americans who are struggling to pay rents or bills due to the government’s insufficient stimulus agreement whilst the pandemic.

She got in touch with a single mother from Nashville, Nikki Cornwell, who could not manage to pay the rent that rose to $5,000. She mentioned on her fundraising page that the year couldn’t get worse for them. She was ready to start a new job in May but she was shunned from all of the opportunities when she got infected by Coronavirus. Being a COVID-positive patient, everyone denied her to provide her a job. She was devastated and wrote, “It’s been rough because I’m not the only person looking for work. My family would appreciate any help on this holiday. I am definitely praying for miracles. God bless everyone.”

The pop diva left a heartfelt note with her donation. She said, “Nikki, I read about you in the Washington Post and thought it was really brave of you to share your story. I’m so sorry for everything you’ve had to go through this year and wanted to send you this gift, from one Nashville girl to another. Love, Taylor.”

Another woman from Michigan, Shelbie Selewsk is a victim of the global crisis. When the lockdown started, she too lost her job. She was fired from her work in the spring and “had to stay home with my young daughter who was born with a collapsed lung right before Covid (Dec) and was hospitalized for two months after at Childrens.”

Taylor provided $13,000 to Selewski, sending her a note saying, “Shelbie, I’m sending you this gift after reading about you in the Washington Post. No one should have to feel the kind of stress that’s been put on you. I hope you and your beautiful family have a great holiday season. Love, Taylor.”
