The day of the rare total solar eclipse is perhaps the best day to create some anticipation and Taylor has done that Swiftly! Taylor Swift has just teased her upcoming album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ by sharing its lunar-themed lyrics.
On her Instagram story, the singer has shared a link through which fans can pre-order the upcoming musical album along with a video of a typewriter typing the lyrics from an upcoming album. It reads, “Crowd goes wild at her fingertips/Half moonshine, Full eclipse,” and just like it suggests; the crowd actually goes wild with the line.
It is even more perfect as a rare total Solar eclipse took place on the same day. Millions of people in the USA and Mexico as well as in Canada witnessed the rare phenomenon. They experienced a darkened sky on a bright day and it was truly spectacular.
This also happened just two days after Taylor Swift shared a countdown to reveal her upcoming album within 13 days as 13 is her favorite album. She shared an Instagram story on April 6th which featured the same typewriter and it read “13 days until THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT.”

Previously on February 4th, the Grammy award winning artist shared the news of the upcoming record. While receiving her Grammy, Swift also said that she has been working hard on this upcoming album for the past two years and the anticipation is quite high among the fans right now!

Swift also shared an exclusive set of playlists on Apple Music where the musical catalog is categorized into five stages of heartbreak namely, denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and lastly, acceptance. With this special catalog, the Swifties believe that the upcoming album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ will be also based on the same theme and emotions.
Each of the categories is titled either based on the name of the tracks or the phrases that define them. The titles were, ‘I Love You, It’s Ruining My Life Songs’, ‘You Don’t Get to Tell Me About Sad Songs’, ‘Am I Allowed to Cry? Songs’, ‘Old Habits Die Screaming Songs’ and last but not least, ‘I Can Do It with a Broken Heart Songs.’
The forthcoming album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ is all set to release on April 19, at midnight and fans are eagerly waiting for it.
