Every alternative week, the pop scene gets blessed with moody tracks that simply turn out to be a lot more fun than the previous. And, this week The Kid LAROI has teamed up with none other than Justin Bieber as they drop the video to their new project ‘Stay (Montage)’.

The two iconic artists have made a comeback with yet another upbeat, synth-filled, and high-energy pop ballad that gives away the vibes of ‘Somebody’ and ‘Die for You’. After The Kid LAROI has teased his fans for over months now, the video seems to be the perfect reward for anticipation.

Both Laroi and Justin seem to be floating in the air, dancing around, and running around a city as its stays frozen in the laps of time. It’s definitely a high-voltage track and it is certainly not the first time when Laroi has he has made such a big feature on one of his tracks.

The new track comes in after the Australian kid was last spotted in Miley Cyrus featured ‘Without You’ and this is his second collaboration with Bieber.

The Kid LAROI believes that this is his most organic song so far and the whole set-up was quite impromptu. However, the song turned out to be hauntingly effective with a hyper-slick pop-punk hybridization that is sure to treat their fans incredibly.

The sing ‘Stay (Montage)’ revolves around how a person expects more from their partners in a relationship than they are capable of giving back in return. Both the singers sound equally convincing, desperate, and also defensive which is supposedly a very familiar approach made by Laroi.

For Justin Bieber, it is more of a sneaky act who manages to introduce some charming tenderness into his not-so-effective pleas. Both the singers sing to their distant lovers pleading them to stay no matter what happens. The visuals are appropriate and have been nicely choreographed to uphold the theme and the emotions.

Overall, it’s a catchy and perhaps, more effective record dropped by Bieber than his most recent album on which he sounded like he was jogging while Laroi was busy sprinting.

Amidst the pandemic crisis, the song kicks in as a perfect fit for the return of concerts and festivals.

Both Justin Bieber and The Kid LAROI have played by their strengths and show off their versatility as rappers, artists, and also amazing performers who are able to pull off some top-shot pop quality sounds. Listen to the full track on YouTube now.
