An Australian man with blue locks has been found in many concerts, crashing on stage and getting too close to the celebrity artists. He tried the same with Ariana Grande when she appeared for the Asia premiere of Wicked: For Good. This incident of grabbing Ariana took place last Thursday, and the man is not in jail by the Singapore administration.

Johnson Wen is currently 26 years old, and it seems like he feels absolutely no shame for being found guilty of creating a nuisance at events with high-profile celebrities. Videos of the incident are already viral over social media, and they show Wen breaking the protective barrier and jumping to Ariana, then grabbing her shoulder and jumping up and down.

It was quite shocking for Ariana as well as Cynthia Erivo, who literally pushed the man away and held Grande like a protector. She is truly present there for her sister and not just for the film. This unfortunate incident of showing fake fandom has sparked a huge rage among the people and fans of Singapore, and they have asked for the arrest and deportation of Wen.

Wen already has a huge history of disrupting concerts and celebrity events, as it is his identity. In the trial that took place on Monday, Wen argued that he is a “serial intruder” and that it is his identity that helped him gain online popularity, as apparently, people love to watch him intrude on celebrity shows and sporting events. That is definitely a very weird way to address mental health issues and attention-seeking behavior, but that is the way of social media right now.

He posts videos of intruding on many concerts by celebrity artists like The Weeknd, Katy Perry, and the list goes on. Even the Australian media has reported multiple incidents where the man is banned from various venues with a significant fine.

The incident in Singapore escalated as Ariana Grande was greatly traumatized, and it gave her a flashback or PTSD, as previously, an intruder caused a suicide bomb attack and killed 22 people in one of her concerts that took place in Manchester back in 2017. Wen intruded twice, and the second time was his chance, and he got pinned by the police. Later on, the social content creator posted on social media saying he is ‘free’ and thanked Ariana Grande.

Now, the question is why such nuisance creators are getting so much privilege and audacity to intrude on the celebrity events? While a lot of people are blaming him, it is also true that online users gave him the fame and support that led him to this day. Be responsible and entertain yourself responsibly.
