Ariana Grande and The Weekend is setting the bar high again with their latest remix representation of ‘Save Your Tears’.
The remixed version of the track premiered on 23rd April along with an animated video. The solo pop hit by The Weeknd has turned into a beautiful duet.
Both of the artists have sent five songs to the No. 1 on the Hot 100 throughout their musical career. However, they have never reached the summit together and the latest remix could be it.
Despite working together several times, the latest remix is building high anticipation. Ariana is lending her vocal skills to push ‘Save Your Tears’ at No. 1 on the Hot 100.
Experts from the industry are saying this is one of the trendy strategies to re-release a track by featuring another superstar singer or top-tier musician in order to make it more successful.
All the streaming royalty, sales, and radio plays can be accrued by both the original version and the remixed one. It makes it easier for the track or title to reach the top of the weekly rankings.
Till now ‘Save Your Tears’ has occupied the place at No. 4 on Hot 100 and this week it has gone to the No. 5 spots. However, it has been gaining some ground lately by acquiring the spot at No.3 in the Radio Songs list.
The latest version featuring one of the biggest pop stars in the industry could turn the tables for a change.
This the third collaboration between Ariana Grande and The Weeknd. Previously, these two artists have teamed up for the tracks ‘Love Me Harder’, and ‘Off the Table’.
Currently, it is not certain that the latest track will reach No. 1 but if it does, these singers will find their sixth champion at the Hot 100.
