Saturday Night Live’s recent musical guest was none other than the hottest rapper in town, Travis Scott. The SNL gig this weekend included Scott performing ‘My Eyes’, and ‘Fe!n’ featuring PlayboiCarti. But that is not all, he also premiered a new song ‘We Got Too High’ with Please Don’t Destroy and Ramy Youssef for a sketch. The Houston rapper brought a taste of Utopia to the stage of the famous Saturday Night Live for the audiences. He brought two album tracks for the latest episode of NBC’s late-night sketch comedy show on March 30. Just before the show aired, Scott also premiered the official music video for ‘Fe!n’ on YouTube.

However, he shows regret for partying with the Please Don’t Destroy men (Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy) and Poor Things famed actor Ramy Youssef during ‘We Got Too High’ on the show’s sketch. On the show, the tune for the boy’s night out started very typical. “On our way to the function/ Wesmokin’ blunts and/ Feeling so alive/ All the honeys lookin’ scrumptious,” Scott says. However, things quickly turned sour, “I think we got too high/ Smoked too much and I got scared/ Haven’t smoked since high school/ This is not fun/ If I close my eyes, am I still like, here?/ Am I standing normal?/ Where is Ramy?”

Youssef, hosting SNL’s this weekend episode did not partake in the same party activity as everyone else. However, he was not fine. He did not get too high but got lost in his anxious world at the club while probably having the worst time of all. During the whole time at the club, he was seen feeling out of place, agonizing over something stupid that he said earlier in the evening: “We’re gonna have a twisted, rockin’ ball.” Well, even if he did not have fun, or got too high, he gave something else, relatability.

Expecting to have fun and the night of their lives, Travis spotted all four guys acting weird in their own ways. “Man, why’d I bring them?” Scott wondered. “They’re actin’ crazy/ And why is that guy being held like a baby?”

Ramy Youssef was the host of the episode and delivered one of the most entertaining monologues of this year. He didn’t hold back when it came to the election. He talked about one of the most controversial topics in America right now, about a woman becoming President. He said, “I really think our next president should be a woman,” while the audience cheered. “I think we should have a trans woman as our next president,” he said with a pause. “A little less support, yeah. That’s New York, right? New York’s like, ‘We’re liberal, but we’re Italian. Watch out!'” Ramy continued. At the same time, he also included prayers for Gaza in the most genuine way possible. The comedian shared a story of his friend who is from Gaza. “So that night, I go to pray, and my prayers are complicated. I’ve got a lot to fit in. I’m like, ‘God, please, please help Ahmed’s family. Please stop the suffering. Stop the violence. Please free the people of Palestine, please. And please free the hostages, all the hostages, please.” Youssef said.
