Vince Gill Received the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the CMA 2025

Vince Gill was recently honored with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, which is one of the most notable awards in the industry. The award was given to him at the CMA 2025, which took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Gill received the honor on Wednesday, November 19, and it is truly a moment of celebration for him and his family.

There was also a tribute performance of Gill’s hit single “When I Call Your Name,” which was performed by Patty Loveless and Brandi Carlile. While accepting the biggest honor of the night, Gill did not forget to mention each of his children’s names, and then, he ended his speech of gratitude by mentioning his wife, Amy Grant. He called her the “kindest soul” of his own life.

Vince Gill has won the Grammy Awards a total of 22 times, and he is best known for his musical creations that tantalized listeners. This man has married twice, and his first wife was Janis Oliver, whom he divorced long ago. He shares one daughter with Janis, who is known as Jennifer “Jenny” Jerene Gill.

In 2000, he got tied with Amy Grant and started a happy married life again. Amy Grant, on the other hand, was previously married to musician Gary Chapman, and she shares a total of three children with Gary, namely Sarah Cannon Besenius, Matthew Garrison Chapman, and Gloria Mills “Millie” Long. She got married to Gary in 1982, and their divorce took place in 1999.

As a result, both of them left their former partners and started a new life with each other, which marks a fresh beginning. Their daughter Corrina Grant Gill was born in 2001, within one year of their married life.

When it comes to the children, Jennifer, aka Jenny, is currently 43 years old, and she is a talented country singer herself. She dropped her debut EP ‘The House Sessions’ back in 2017. Matthew Garrison Chapman decided to pursue his dreams of business, and now, he is the president and chief technology officer of LabCanna. Gloria Mills “Millie” Long is the most lovable kid in the house, and that kid is 38 years old. The third child of the house is Sarah Cannon Besenius, who is currently 33 years old. The youngest Corrina Grant Gill is currently 24 years old, and she has already dropped her debut EP project, titled ‘Here For Holding’. It seems like the Gills are doing really great!
