The popular Disney show, Hannah Montana, is turning 20 in 2026. The fans are expecting a comeback of the pop sensation on the special 20th anniversary.
On the occasion of the ‘Hannahversary’, people are expecting some surprises as Miley teases something for the fans. Everyone is assuming that Miley is about to bring back the teen pop sensation on the anniversary. She sang ‘You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home’ and it feels like she is truly going towards it. Recently, Miley gave a hint that they might come back with something for all fans.
This show is not only special for the audience but equally special for Miley, too. She debuted as an actor in the show where she played the role of a pop star’s alterego. At that time, she was only 13, which led her to attain a huge exposure from all. The show started on 24th March 2006. Thus, after a few months in 2026, the show will complete 20 years of anniversary.
Hannah Montana went on for five years. The show came to an end in the year 2011. For five years, Miley showcased her charm and won everyone’s hearts. However, no one expected that the pop star would make a comeback. Now everyone knows that Miley came back in an even bigger way, and now she is one of the biggest pop music artists. Even after all these years, Miley hasn’t forgotten the show.

Miley stated ‘It’s about to be the 20-year Hannahversary in March!’. She also said, ‘I want to design something really, really special for it because it really was the beginning of all of this that now sits here today’. Miley added more by saying ‘Without Hannah, there really wouldn’t be this…me. It’s so crazy to think that I started as a character that I thought would be impossible to shed, and now, that’s something that when I walk into a space, it’s looked at as this sense of nostalgia or something that you have from your childhood. But now, I’ve sort of been integrated into everyone’s life as the character has’.
The pop star has indicated that something special is going to happen, but people cannot assume what it is. However, she has said, ‘I have this very large polyp on my vocal cord, which has given me a lot of the tone and the texture that has made me who I am’. Miley added more, ‘but it’s extremely difficult to perform with because it’s like running a marathon with ankle weights on’.
After that, she also said, ‘My voice is super unique because of it, but I do have this Reinke’sEdema and I have this large polyp on my cords and I’m not willing to sever it because the chance of waking up from a surgery and not sounding like myself is a probability… I put a tour together like every other week because I want to do it, but it would have to be in a way that is sustainable for me’.
Due to various reasons, Miley will not be able to go on a big tour but she will definitely do something on this 20th anniversary. In 2024, she was recognized as the Disney Legend. Therefore, she is allowed to perform on all the hit songs of the show. The artist said ‘After being inducted as a Disney Legend, I was given permission to perform those songs in the future, which is pretty cool’. Now everyone is expecting that at the right time Miley will reveal the surprise for the 20th anniversary of the show.
