Olivia Rodrigo Has Already Chosen Her Wedding Song amidst the Heartbreak Series

Young and incredibly talented pop star Olivia Rodrigo is best known for her ‘Heartbreak’ songs, but the artist is also showing maturity in her musical creation, like a reflection of her own life. The singer is currently 23 years old, and she is all set to drop a brand new track called ‘Maggots For Brains,’ which is scheduled to be released soon.

Talking about the song, Rodrigo said, “I love that song musically, and there’s a lot going on – a lot of harmonies – and literally in the car, I was like, turn that backing vocal up just one decibel.” She further added, “I was getting kind of weird about it. Nobody else will notice.”

The artist recently appeared for an interview at Hampstead Heath in London, which is one of her favorite places, as she can stay unbothered without anyone noticing her. Talking about her experience, she said, “One time, I even saw someone propose. I was sitting on a bench, and I looked over, and there was a huge commotion, and all the couple’s friends were there. It was so sweet.”

Just like songs, Rodrigo yearns for a fairy tale romance in real life, and someday, this talented artist might receive a dramatic but sweet proposal as well. Expressing her desire, she said, “I’d love it if someone paid for a placard on one of the benches that said, ‘Will you marry me?’,” she laughed a little and said, “Then you’d sit down and you’re like, ‘Oh my God!’ She also said, “So spread the word… Hopefully my future husband will see this.”

She also added, “Imagine kissing and then walking back down the aisle to that? I love that song.”

Talk about its subject matter, the artist said, “I really wanted to capture romantic joy and pleasure for the first time, because my last two albums were very heartbroken and really angsty,” and that totally makes sense.

Fans are now eagerly waiting for the album to be released, which is going to be “A time capsule of a relationship in a few years of my life,” according to Rodrigo.
