However, fellow Colombians Shakira, Camilo, and Karol G rule nominations with seven each. Juanes managed to hold the most nominations in the history of awards.

Karol G bragged about the title of winner for Album of the Year for her LP ‘Manana sera bonito’ at the Grammys, she shared, ‘”To have the Album of the Year is too (great),’ added, ‘This album changed my life.’

María José Llergo, a contemporary flamenco singer said, ‘Flamenco is the classical music of Andalucía, the sound of feet on cobblestones, a reflection of our story, our people,’ continued sharing, ‘Andalucía is so welcoming, and if Seville can host it, it is because it has a big heart.’ She also said, ‘I was in the countryside, everything felt far’.

She shared that she hoped the Latin Grammys would deliver young people in one of the poorest places in Spain, Andalucía the will and courage to live up to their dreams, ‘This is a great push for the young people here to know it’s not too far, and I think that’s beautiful.’
