Like every other year, American Music Awards has poured down an ample dose of entertainment among the audience with the star-studded performances. Sunday night was quite eventful as the brightest music artists across all genres were featured in the show. Cardi B kept everybody enthralled with her hoisting skills and entertaining persona. Some of the exquisite performances of Bad Bunny, Tyler, the Creator, BTS, and others have taken the show to a higher notch. Full of multiple memorable moments, this year’s American Music Award has been the most successful music award ceremony this year.

Cardi B was already enhancing the show with her presence and evolving looks of fashion. She did not let anyone understand that this was her debut hosting experience. Her interaction with JoJo Siwa was the best moment. Cardi said, “I see you, JoJo Siwa. Let me tell you something: My husband was trying to get JoJo Siwa for my daughter’s birthday party but she is booked and busy.” She called out Siwa for not coming to the birthday but asked her to join again by saying.” So JoJo Siwa, can you please come to see my daughter at Christmas?” There was a sense of humor in it as she said, “I know you cost a lot of money — let me tell you something, these rappers don’t get nothing on JoJo Siwa.” Jojo gave a thumbs up to her proposal and said, “Cardi, I’m gonna see what I can do for Christmas. … I can’t wait to meet Kulture. She is being raised by a superstar.”

 When it comes to featuring kids, Machine Gun Kelly does not fall back. MGK has been bringing his girlfriend Megan Fox to the recent red carpet events. But this time the rapper chose to bring his little daughter Casie Baker who is only 12 years old. The father-daughter duo could be seen posing on the red carpet and later on, they enjoyed the show together. Machine Gun Kelly also won the award for favorite rock artist. When it comes to winning awards, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, and BTS took a total of three awards and topped the event. Bruno Mars and Anderson. Paak started the evening with their energetic performance on the latest track ‘Smokin’ Out The Window’. The duo has gathered a lot of attention with their debut album ‘Silk Sonic’, smooth essence of upbeat funk and jazz.

The night was filled with more debut performances as Olivia Rodrigo also performed on the track ‘Traitor’ which is currently buzzing through the music industry, it is the fourth single from her recently released album ‘Sour’. Olivia also won the award for the New Artist of the Year. The hype among the audience went wild with Tyler, The Creator’s performance on the track ‘Massa’. It appears on his sixth studio album named ‘Call Me If You Get Lost’. Chlöe also made her debut performance on AMA with the single ‘Have Mercy’. Mickey Guyton added a layer of country music with her performance on the track, ‘All American’. Even Jennifer Lopez performed on the track ‘On My Way, featuring on her upcoming film. Je-Lo is a three-time AMA awards winner.

BTS was the star-performing band of the show that ended the show with their amazing performance on the record-smashing track ‘Butter’. The band also performed with Coldplay for the world television premiere of ‘My Universe’. The band also made history as no other Asian Music Group has won the Artist of the Year category before. They have also won for the Favorite Pop Duo or Group and Favorite Pop Song for the track ‘Butter’. The heart-throbbing K-pop boy band has a total of nine AMAs right now. The hype and anticipation are followed by Taylor Swift as she won the award for Favorite Pop Album for ‘Evermore’ and also for the Favorite Female Pop Artist. Taylor has a total of 34 AMAs right now and looking forward to garnering even more. The acceptance speech of her melted everyone’s heart as she said, “I always looked at evermore as folklore’s adventurous, fun younger sister. Also to the fans, thank you for the amazing support you’ve thrown my way with Red, my version.”

Bad Bunny won the award for Favorite Male Latin Artist while securing the award for Favorite Latin Album for ‘EL ÚLTIMO TOUR DEL MUNDO’. On the other hand, Kali Uchis garnered the award for Favorite Latin Song with this year’s chartbuster ‘telepatía’. American Music Awards is approaching its semicentennial anniversary next year and the preparation has already started. This year, the organizers have tried to acknowledge all the trending and favorite artists and songs of the year by keeping an to the listener’s choice and latest trends. The audiences and listeners across the world are looking forward to the next year’s event for more adventure and entertainment.
