This talented indie rock band is all set to drop their brand new Sophomore Album ‘Bird Screaming’ on July 28. Offering an introspection on life and nature, the album also carries the signature essence of its works that speaks for everyone. Greatly intriguing and engaging at the same time, the subject matter of the album revolves around the topics of depression, anxiety, and the search for a sense of belonging along with a connection the nature that fulfills the emotion. The united effort and creative essence of each band member is what makes Music Hall one of a kind. Multi-instrumentalists Arlen Thompson (Wolf Parade) and Andrew Halliwell along with singer/songwriters Tasha Cyr and Erik Virtanen offer the creative force that reflects through each musical composition by this band. It has refined the indie rock essence with acoustic folk and dreamy harmonies that offer captivating soundscapes. The latest project ‘Bird Screaming’ was recorded by Andrew Halliwell and mixed by Arlen Thompson in the island towns of Lantzville and Nanaimo, British Columbia where art and nature are interwoven. This album took birth under a project initiated by the Canada Council for the Arts, where Erik Virtanen has written ten enveloping songs. With the combination of an amazing sound design, heartfelt lyrics, and an empowering theme; this latest album is about to set another example in the indie rock scene.
