Saint Brown : I feel that they do assuming they are with the right person, right chemistry and all parties have the same goal for the message they are trying to convey

Saint Brown : I feel we are at an empasse. I think we are going towards the old shool rap where it had meaning again. People are remembering what hip hop truly means

Saint Brown : My past experiences. I channel painful and emotional times in my life for my songs.

Daily Music Roll : Are culture, society, politics, etc. important components in hip hop and rap?

Saint Brown : it can be, if that is the message you want to convey. Politics however can cause a rift in your fans. lol

Daily Music Roll : From protesting music to rejuvenating music, hip hop has come a long way. How do you go about or accept the change?

Saint Brown : I know it has all changed, however I continue to make music in the era that I thought it was last greatest. I love the 90’s style! lol

Daily Music Roll : Do you think music plays a big role in influencing the structure of culture and society?

Saint Brown : depends on the city/state… some area are heavily dominated by hip hop. In those areas, people can be driven by it. clothes, food choices, even daily activities can be influenced by hip hop

Daily Music Roll : Do you think a piece of music in hip hop and rap can put forward important opinions?

Saint Brown : it can, thats what i try to do with my music. I want people to know they are not alone when they feeling down or lonely.

Daily Music Roll : Do you have any advice to give to new artists who are looking for exposure?

Saint Brown : Keep grinding! do not buy into the fake views, or exposure. get it organically. 5 real people are better than 500 bots!

Saint Brown : In a virtual world post covid I would say most definitely.

Saint Brown : very important. each line must support the last. They all must come together like I am having a conversation and im expressing a direct point to each listener.

Saint Brown : Yes, I write moste of my music based on past experience and trials and tribulations.
