Musician Olive Lilienth’ latest music video ‘hey hi hello’ is inspiring others with good vibes

Hi friends, this week we have a special guest with us, an upcoming musician, Olive Lilienth, who has popularized the unique sound created by the melange of soft and lofi melodies. They are a non-binary, independent, creative songwriter and singer of only 16 years. They have unleashed a new music release on Youtube titled ‘hey hi hello’ on August 31, 2020. We are very happy that they could give us some time in this unusual period. It’s time to roll a good time with the new talent from Alabama and know about the secrets of their amazing therapeutic music.

1. Hi Olive. How are you taking care of yourself during this pandemic?

Ans: Hi! I’m just taking things one day at a time (I know it sounds cliché) buts really all I can do.

2. I know COVID-19 hit us hard in our guts very hard and we weren’t ready for it. Did you too get badly affected by this?

Ans: Yes very much. It sent my mental health down a spiral straight to hell lol.

3. How many gigs or recordings got canceled honestly?

Ans: Not many because I didn’t have too many set up, I did have a few drag performances that got canceled and I was sad about that.

4. How do you want to describe yourself before you put music out in the world?

Ans: Before I put music out? I was me but a little less complete I guess. Music has always been that missing puzzle piece and I’m so happy I found it and it fits.

5. What’s so special about ‘hey hi hello’?

Ans: EVERYTHING it’s my baby I spent so much time on it! And the amount of love I put into this 3 minutes song is crazy I hope everyone will see the effort I put into it

6. What has inspired you to write a song like this?

Ans: I wanted to make a song showing raw emotions, “toxic” emotions if you will because everyone has them so there’s no reason pretending we don’t. We all mess up and it’s important we owe up to it.

7. Is it a dedicated track to someone? I am sure he/she will be reading this interview (wink).

Ans: Yes!!! I recently got cheated on by my ex boyfriend and it just tore me apart.. Even though he cheated on me and treated me like crap I still found myself going back to text him.

8. How do you manage your success at such a young age?

Ans: I haven t really gotten to the success area yet lol but hopefully ill become more successful soon and then ill tell u how I manage it hahaha

9. What are your plans in late 2020?

Ans: Hopefully my music will take off by then and then I can release some music videos amd maybe even a ep!!

10. How did you get the idea of such an inscrutable form of music?

Ans: Dreams! I want all my music to be angelic and dreamy ya know kinda lofi-esc.

11. Which music icons or your family members have inspired you to the core when it comes to living for music?

Ans: My older brother was always in a lot of bands and would always be in the garage playing music my whole child hood so I guess it just became i big part of my life. But recently a lot of my inspirations come from Conan Gray and Jazmin Bean and Melanie Martinez! I wanna be a perfect mix of all of them.

12. Any word you want to say to your fans about the latest release or your next plans?

Ans: I have released a song called “i dont care” a few days ago so check that out! And as for new stuff I have a few singles being made so keep an eye out!
