Hello SAMString! Congratulation on the colossal popularity of your recent song, and thank you for doing this interview with us!

Q: What type of electronic music influences do you use in your production?

Ans: I create mostly Deep House and Drum & Bass since it usually involves making the melody more than the vocals.

Q: How far will EDM go in the evolution of music according to you?

Ans: EDM will always take place in the modern century and the upcoming songs since it’s a fresh genre which could be added on in the upcoming years.

Q: Which modern-day artists inspire your soundscape the most?

Ans: For Deep House I am inspired by Demeter, KastomariN, Nezhdan. For Drum & Bass usually it is Camellia.

Q: Are you associated with any production label?

Ans: I am currently not but I might consider it in the future.

Q: Do you feel that live performances are crucial in an artist’s popularity?

Ans: I wouldn’t use the word crucial, but I would say it is an important factor because the fans of every artist would truly feel the music if they had a physical connection with the artist in real life and in concerts.

Q: Do you consider the use of lyrics in your music?

Ans: Having singers in the song does add a lot of spice in terms of emotions and understandability. However, playing the right melodies and beats would terminate the need for lyrics, and for me I could work for both.

Q: What is the competition like in your relevant music scene?

Ans: I do have a lot of competitors that are talented in Deep House and market their music properly so coming up with a new track would need uniqueness and perfect production adding on the marketing would target the listeners.

Q: Do you often collaborate with other artists and musicians?

Ans: Not that much in the meantime, but I used to collaborate with an old friend called Joe Blast (Underscore) 4 years ago. However, new plans are coming out and I will consider collaborating with singers.

Q: Is music capable of influencing social and cultural sagas?

Ans: Yes, music has a big effect on people’s behaviors, and it is used to change the mood of the person. When you pick a Hard Style song you would pump up a lot of energy. In the other hand, chill music would make you relax your nerves if you were stressed or deal with anxiety.

Q: What is your take on artists attempting to create genre-bending sounds?

Ans: I am one of those artists and usually I tend to combine two genres in one to come up with a different way to interpret the song, and I really respect other artists trying to think outside the box.

Q: What are your goals as a music artist?

Ans: I want to influence my listeners to be positive when they hear my music and never disappoint my loyal listeners. At the same time, always be productive and up to date with the new genre trends. Also, I want to expand my music throughout the world so it can be open to other cultures.

Q: What do you have to say to upcoming artists?

Ans: Never stop producing. The journey is long, but you wouldn’t feel it if you enjoyed it. Also, mixing and mastering are the main elements of a high quality music, and even if you wrote a bad composition, the mixing and mastering would kick through and satisfy the listener.
