Christmas is almost here and ‘Saturday night live’ brought Billie Eilish to host the show and perform her songs alongside. The episode was broadcast last Saturday, 11th of December 2021.

The most beautiful moment of that episode was Billie’s parents Maggie and Patrick, who are actors as well, introduced her to some sweet childhood as well as her growing memories and stories.

Billie came out as Mrs. Santa Claus, gifted with a natural sense of humor and brilliant screen presence, she hosted the show gracefully.

With her cupcake baggy dress, she managed her double duties well enough. This SNL became a family affair when her parents introduced her. And later on, Finneas joined her for each song in between her hosting.

She performed several songs like ‘Male Fantasy’, ‘Happier Than ever’ title song from her latest album, ‘Sesame Street’ title track. Her performance of the ‘Santa Song’ with vibrant red dress added the cherry on top essence to the show.

All these social causes were presented in the form of skits. Major issues like black racism, discrimination with the Jew community, homophobia which has impacted the social equations were addressed wisely enough.

Geographical causes like saving the tiger, octopus, and many more animals which are on the verge of extinction. And mental issues, that are caused by the virtual world.

The festive seasons are here, so is the omicron variant of the virus. And this can be tedious to follow protocols and safety measures properly when gatherings are celebrated.

This nineteen years old star performed her famous ‘Bad Guy’ on SNL in 2019, with her green hair. We see her blowing kisses and interacting with the audience gracefully.

She started with a monologue, ‘I’m turning 20 or as the internet likes to call that: middle-aged’ she smartly joked and poked the head writer Colin Jost.

Just like any other star who gained stardom at a very young age, she said lines like, ‘The scary thing about growing up in the public eye, is that people decide that everything you say, and do and look like, is who you are forever,’ Eilish added more like ‘that’s not fair’.
