The sudden death of KK or Krishnakumar Kunnath has left a big void in the music industry as well as in the hearts of music lovers. Amidst this heart-wrenching incident, Bengali singer Rupankar Bagchi is facing a major backlash due to his negative remarks against the late singer, before his show.
Mr. Bagchi posted a video on Tuesday evening and the KK’s death happened after the video took over the internet. With the demise of the melodic singer, the fans went into rage and Rupankar is currently under fire for his negative and self-bragging attitude.
Many of the fans asked him not to curse anyone anymore.
Rupankar Bagchi is a National- Award winner singer and such provocative words and body language from one singer toward another singer is truly painful to witness where every singer is a part of the music industry.
Bagchi did not only make provocative comments on KK’s singing abilities but also questioned his existence asking on Facebook, “Who is KK man?”
In the video, Mr. Bagchi repeatedly said that there are far better Bengali singers in Kolkata and thus, the music lovers should be only excited about those singers, not KK. He further asked the audience through his post why everyone does not show the same response when he or other Bengali singers have concerts.
The way Mr. Bagchi demeaned a fellow music artist is unacceptable and his statement hurt a lot of his own fans, including actress Rupanjana Mitra who soon posted against Bagchi right after the news of KK’s demised surfaced on media.
It is quite tragic how KK left this world with the trail of Bagchi’s cursed notions.
Rupankar Bagchi won the National Award for the song “E tumi Kemon Tumi?”. The title of the song is what currently revolving in every music lover’s heart right now regarding Mr. Bagchi’s terrible reaction.
