Mariah Carey Throws A Boat Party On Her 55th “Anniversary”

Iconic singer Mariah Carey has just celebrated her 55th Birthday or ‘Anniversary’ on a boat and it was a gala. The singer offered some glimpses of her 55th Birthday celebration on Instagram. The pictures posted on March 27 show Carey lounging on a luxury boat.

She could be seen rocking in an embellished blue gown along with heavy blonde locks that were tied up in a ponytail. The caption reads, “Anniversary adventures commence.” It seems like the singer has a knack for super yachts as she is spotted having a boat vacation from long ago. Perhaps everyone’s loving Mariah is a water baby only.

On her birthday in 2023, the singer was also found diving off a yacht in a pink swimsuit. She shared the photos on social media with a caption, “Celebratory splash at 3:27 on 3.27!” In the earlier years like 2014 to 2017, the singer has always shared pictures of her boat vacations including her family and friends.

Last year, Carey used a tweet from her fan to shed light on the resurfaced interview where she could be found explaining her views on birthdays. The singer said, “I don’t have birthdays. No, well, I just have anniversaries. I decided to do that. And I’ve noticed that people who decide not to have birthdays, they just don’t have them.”

It seems like the superstar has an exciting spring coming on the way as the singer is planning to go back to Las Vegas for the third time. It is for the celebration of the Mimi residency which is taking place from April 12 to April 27 at the Dolby Live in Park MGM. It is a series of shows that is going to tribute to her fan-favorite album “The Emancipation of Mimi” on its 19th Anniversary. It album was originally released back on April 12, 2005.

A recently shared statement about the show reads, “The Las Vegas shows will feature fan favorites from that album as well as other hits from her unparalleled illustrious career.” The album “The Emancipation of Mimi” consists of some hit tracks from Mariah’s career such as ‘Shake It Off’, ‘We Belong Together’, and many others. It is one of the best-selling albums from the singer’s huge musical arsenal. It is also considered her “comeback album,” featured in the catalog.
