The American rapper Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, famously known as Nicki Minaj makes history by becoming the first female rapper to reach a net worth of USD 100 million. Being one of the most successful and loved rappers of this generation, it isn’t surprising at all to see her at the top of the ladder.
The entire thing came into limelight when the recording label of Nicki, Young Money took to twitter to share this feat with a portrait of the rapper and the caption: ‘Nicki Minaj has become the first female rapper in history to amass a $100 million net worth’, including the hashtag #QueenTingz and the emoji of the crown. However, the rapper hasn’t yet made any comment on it.
The ‘Bang Bang’ fame had announced her retirement from the music industry back in September 2019. But, later was seen along with Murda Beatz in the single ‘FENDI’. She has also been a part of the controversy that rose with her first 2020 release ‘Yikes’, due to the use of words like ‘All you bitches Rosa Parks / Uh oh, get your ass up’.
With this Nicki has surpassed her contemporary rappers Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, and Lil Kim whose net worth stands at $60 million, $50 million, and $18 million respectively.
The followers pretty quickly responded to this great achievement of the rapper by showering the comment section of the post with heartwarming comments.
