Pantera Will No Longer Perform At The Aftershock Festival 2023

Panetra has dropped off from the lineup of the Aftershock festival that is happening this October. The fans will have to wait till another time for Pantera celebrations at the Aftershock festival. The band just announced that they will no longer be performing at the festival due to “circumstances beyond our control.” However, the band also told the fans to be hopeful as they will return to the festival in 2024. In addition to that, the band still recognizes the fact that they will be performing at the Louder Than Life this weekend. So it is safe to assume whatever that is affecting the band’s appearance at the Aftershock festival this year is not a matter of concern or will not be impactful on their Danny Wimmer Presents festival appearances this fall.

“Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be unable to perform at this year’s edition of Aftershock next month. This event is monumental and it pains us to have to miss it. We will however be back for Aftershock 2024! A since thank you to Danny Wimmer Presents as well as all the fans around the globe who’ve supported the 2023 Pantera celebration. We will see you all at Louder Than Life this weekend and Aftershock next year!” Pantera announced in a statement posted to their social media platforms.

Aftershock Festival also came out with its own statement where it was revealed that Stone Temple Pilots will be replacing Pantera this year. The official website of Aftershock Festival no longer lists Pantera as an act in its lineup for October as well. The official handle on X (formerly known as Twitter) posted a statement that says, “Aftershock family, due to unforeseen circumstances, Pantera is no longer able to join us next month.
