British pop star Ed Sheeran is willing to make his Indian fans happy with his forthcoming remix EP project, where he is collaborating with a bunch of Indian artists.
The new Hindi remix for ‘Heaven’ will be arriving in the upcoming remix EP by Ed, which will work like an extension to his latest album project, Play. This marks the first collaboration with Hindi lyrics in his song, and the artist seems to be excited about it.
Talented singer Jonita Gandhi said, “I think this is the first song of his to feature Hindi lyrics, and I’m so honoured to be the one to do it. It’s a beautiful love song, and I feel so grateful to bring a little bit of my personality and heart into it. I’m so excited for people to hear this version!”
The singer herself is one of the greatest fans of Sheeran’s work, and this experience of collaboration means a lot to her. She further added, “I’ve been such a huge fan of Ed’s for as long as I can remember, so getting to collaborate with him on this version of Heaven feels really special.”

Talking about the verse in the track, Jonita said, “My verse on the song expresses that feeling of knowing that you’re with ‘the one’. It’s super romantic and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!” Quite evidently, this song is going to be an emotional rollercoaster for all the Indian fans of Sheeran and Gandhi.
The bonding between Jonita and Sheeran started earlier this year as she opened for Sheeran at his concert in India. Jonita also shared her experience of working with the global popstar and said, “After having the chance to meet him and even open for his concert earlier this year in India, I was blown away by how genuine and grounded he is and how much he truly appreciates the music and culture here.”
Jonita’s birthday month is October, and this collaboration seems to be a perfect gift for her. Talking about the perfect timing, she added, “October is birthday month for me and with Diwali just around the corner I feel like this is perfect timing. Heaven is an earworm as it is… I really hope everyone loves what I’ve added to it.”
Ed Sheeran’s upcoming EP will feature a handful of Indian artists, such as Karan Aujla for ‘Symmetry’, and Hanumankind, along with Dhee and his father Santhosh Narayanan for ‘Don’t Look Down.’ Currently, all the Indian fans are eagerly waiting for the desi spin-offs.
