It seems like veteran pop star Katy Perry is trying too hard to be at the epitome of everyone’s attention, as the singer has already come up with a brand new single. After the major failure of the album 143, the artist did not take much time to release another single, which is titled ‘Bandaids’. The song is scheduled to be released on November 6, and it has been revealed through Perry’s official Instagram handle.

Katy Perry has been dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and their romantic bonding has already sparked much speculation about their wedding. But it was not enough to become the peak popstar like she was back in the 2010s, and so ‘Bandaids’ will be released to heal the wounds of fame. The art cover for the single also shows some very subtle and artistic cuts with reference to a Band-Aid, which might not be needed in real life.

Katy Perry is best known for taking long breaks between her album releases, and this pattern has been followed for the last 12 years. The sudden release of the single on Thursday, Nov 6, is definitely raising some questions about her creative psyche. Is Perry rushing to offer a product, or has she really found a creative flow without blocks?

While there are many exciting possibilities, there is no way that Katy Perry thinks she can reach the peak again like her ‘Teenage Dream’.  The song ‘Band-Aids’ is produced by Cirkut, Andrew Watt, Greg Kurstin, and Max Martin, who are best known as the pop hitmakers. Listeners can witness a live performance of the track through Perry’s ‘Lifetimes’ World Tour concert on November 7, which will be taking place in Lyon, France.

The Lifetimes World Tour is all set to end on December 7, and the last show will take place in Abu Dhabi. The full musical tour consists of a total of 91 shows, which will take place in various regions of North America, South America, Australia, Europe, and Asia.

Perry’s seventh studio album, ‘143’, created a lot of anticipation among the fans, but it could not impress them, as they also offered negative responses similar to those of the music critics. The singer even tried to merge a new-age essence by featuring rapper Doechii, but still, the tracks like “I’m His, He’s Mine”, “Woman’s World,” “Lifetimes,” etc, did not receive a lot of praise. The album project managed to get to No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart, but it could not match the creative taste and energy that Katy could offer effortlessly at the peak of her career.
