Rihanna Brought Her Kids Riot and RZA to the ‘Smurfs’ Premiere

Riri, better known as Rihanna, has not only provided the voice for Smurfs but also brought her sons to the premiere of the movie. Riot and RZA could be found with their pop star mother, and they seem to really enjoy the premiere, which took place in Los Angeles.

It was quite a parade of fashion as Rihanna made sure her sons looked as glamorous as her and their dad, A$AP Rocky. Rihanna, who is currently pregnant with her third child with Rocky, wore an Anthony Vaccarello dress, and the kids were wearing custom Dior suits by Jonathan Anderson.

The family hit the Red Carpet after 90 minutes, the premiere of the movie ended, and they made sure to treat it no less than the red carpet of the Met Gala. The Smurf characters greeted them, and the joy could be seen in their faces. Riri has offered her voice for Smurfette in the movie and said, “This is not just for the kids.”

Rihanna further added, “I’m going to be a little selfish on this one because I’m a superfan of the Smurfs. I’ve always been a fan. I’m really excited for a new generation of Smurfs fans.” She also added that A$AP can be part of the sequel too as “Fashion Smurf” or “Freestyle Smurf” and explained, “There’s already a Papa Smurf but he could play Papa Smurf, too,” Now, isn’t that wholesome?

When the nine-time Grammy winner was asked about her highly anticipated upcoming projects, she simply laughed and said, “Uh-oh Smurf.” The new Smurf movie is directed by Chris Miller, and it is all set to hit the cinemas on July 18.

Other than Riri, there is Hannah Waddingham in the movie who voiced the evil witch. Waddingham is truly sensational and has won the hearts of her fans with an amazing performance in the hit series ‘Ted Lasso’. Her daughter is currently 11 years old, and the artist said, “I’m not going to lie,” and added, “I’m a very cool mum right now.”

Director Miller said, “I would love if Meryl Streep were a Smurf.” When John Goodman, the Papa Smurf, was asked about preparing for the role, he said, “I stay in my closet, painted myself blue and took off my clothes and just ripened.” Smurfs is going to be an absolute blast, and Rihanna has confirmed that with the presence of her kids.
