Considering the vast and diverse pop industry, sibling rivalry has always been an exciting thing for music lovers. Whether it is Michael and Janet or Beyoncé and Solange, fans love both artists equally and now there are another two on the list, Blue Ivy and Rumi.

Beyoncé's Daughter Rumi

Even though the last pair is quite young than the others, they have already made their place in the pop charts; creating another pop dynasty. The seeds of talent and grace have been planted and now, “Protector,” the song by Beyoncé featuring Rumi, has entered the top charts of the Billboard Hot 100.

Therefore, currently, Blue Ivy’s baby sister Rumi is the youngest female artist to be on the chart that ever happened in history. Previously, this record holder was Blue Ivy, Rumi’s elder sister. She is currently 12 years old and in 2019, she made the record by appearing in the track “Brown Skin Girl.” The soundtrack was featured in ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ and it has already peaked at no. 76 on the Hot 100 chart. Blue Ivy was only 7 years old back then and she was credited for making her contributions in vocals as well as lyrics.

On the other hand, Rumi is currently 6 years and 9 months old. The track “Protector” has made its place to no. 42 on the Hot 100 Chart. The album is performing as expected, significantly well as ‘Cowboy Carter’ has already topped the Billboard 200 as well as Billboard’s Country Albums chart. Rumi kicks off the track by asking her mom, “Mom, can I hear the lullaby, please?”

However, the record for the youngest person to feature on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart is French chanteur Jordy Lemoine. He was only 4 years old back then. The track “Dur dur d’être bébé!” took the No. 58 place in 1993. The title of the track means, “It’s Hard to Be a Baby”, and you complain about adulting?

Blue Ivy has become a veteran in the industry at this point. She was previously featured in Beyoncé’s “Blue,” that released back in 2013. Not only Mama Bey but father Jay-Z has also featured his eldest daughter in his 2012 track “Glory.” It makes Blue to be the youngest person to feature on any Billboard chart as it makes it place on Rap Songs and R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.

However, the Carter sisters must be prepared as Victoria Monét’s daughter Hazel Monét is making wonders at the age of 2. She became the youngest person to be nominated for a Grammy as she was featured in her mom’s song “Hollywood.” Perhaps, it is time for the next generation to take of the industry!
