The rapper who is known for unique rainbow-colored hair, funky facial tattoos, and hits on platforms like Soundcloud was arrested over the weekend in the Dominican Republic as authorities suspected him of assaulting two people, one of whom is his music producer.
Later, Tekashi 6ix9ine, the rapper of New York’s arrest was confirmed by Felix Portes, a Dominican Republic-based criminal lawyer. Portes further said, ‘Trying to get out of the country in a private jet, Tekashi 69 ended up on MIGRATION ALERT. Her journey was aborted. The popular artist is on the run, his whereabouts unknown since there is an arrest warrant issued for beatings and injuries and threats.’ Although the actual incident of assault was not recorded a short video shows a group of men who are about to enter a building and then after a few minutes they were seen hurrying away.

Two music producers have accused the artist of assaulting them physically on Friday at a music studio in La Vega. Reportedly, Hernandez arrived at the studio with four other men at midnight and kept asking for his girlfriend, Yailin La Mass Viral who was at the studio then working on a project along with producer Diamond La Mafia who was attacked along with another person by the attackers.
La Mafia shared on the website that Yailin already left at the moment the men arrived at the studio, but the group of men kept demanding Yailin, however, they entered the building to find her but after realizing she was not there they attacked. Well, the other person who was attacked was hit with the butt of a gun and required his jaw to be realigned through surgery.
Music producer, La Mafia also accused Hernandez of being ‘jealous’ over his relation with Yailin. According to Portes, 6ix9ine was arrested in the town of Samana and soon he will be transferred to La Vaga to answer the assault charges.
Well, Tekashi has previously experienced decades behind bars as part of a racketeering case in which the rapper was accused of using a vicious gang as a personal squad to hit. The creator of hits like ‘Fefe’ and ‘Gummo’ was earlier arrested in 2015 in New York over an accusation of distributing a video that featured a thirteen-year-old girl performing sexual acts. Again in 2018, he was arrested and experienced federal criminal charges like armed robbery and conspiracy to commit murder and for his connections with Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods which is known as a violent street gang.
