English pop band The 1975 has announced the release date for their fifth studio album, titled ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’, releasing under Dirty Hit

The heartthrob pop boy band, ‘The 1975’ is all set to win the hearts of their fans again with the latest album ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’. This is the fifth studio album by the band which everyone is looking forward to while the anticipation is high.

Today, July 7, the first teaser of the forthcoming album will be surfaced as the band is sharing a new single from it, titled ‘Part Of The Band’.

The last album released by this band was ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ which was released in 2020. The latest album ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’ will be released on October 14 of this year under the label Dirty Hit.

All the details and the release date have been announced by the band itself through its official Twitter account and mailing list. Along the post, The 1975 also shared a teaser for the new single. The band has asked the fans to tune into BBC Radio 1 at 6 PM BST to have a taste of the latest single.

Frontman Matthew Healy also took this opportunity and shared a 10-second clip of the official music video which sparked more excitement among the fans.

This year is bringing more action for the band as they will be performing live in August. It has been revealed that The 1975 is participating in Japan’s Summer Sonic Festival for two gigs in total. After two years, this English pop band will be returning to the live gigs after their last performance in Dublin in 2020.

 Last year, Healy supported Phoebe Bridgers in Los Angeles by singing a bridge for a track. The artist said, “I love the song and it didn’t have a bridge. So when I opened up for Phoebe I kinda wanted to do that old school Greenwich Village folk scene thing where people used to just play songs that were knocking around by other artists.”

The singer further said, “The bridge was written by me. And then became ‘Part of the Band’.

Another single will be appearing on this upcoming album, titled ‘New York’. The singer has further said about the track that, ‘New York’ will be finished eventually but is not a song of The 1975. Love you see you really soon x.”
