Juice WRLD has reunited with Young Thug in the new music video ‘Bad Boy’. The video has been directed by Cole Bennett and the visual marks are produced by Lyrical Lemonade for the final official video music video that is filmed by Juice WRLD before he passed away in the December of 2019.
In the new visuals of the track that is produced by Pierre B’ourne, the reference of the rapper comes from ‘Bad Boys’, the 1995 action film. It is in this movie where Will Smith and Martin Lawrence were portrayed as narcotics detectives. The pair are seen cruising the streets in the video and they meet up with a group of people later who have got obscure identities with face paint.
There is a brilliant chorus rapped by Juice WRLD ‘Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, I’m a bad boy/Went and got off my ass, and got to the cash/And got in my bag, boy, ‘ and also ‘Please don’t think it’s sweet, I stay with the heat/Even though I’m a sad boy.’
The rap by Young Thug goes like ‘Act like you want war, and they gonna smoke it like a blunt,’ and ‘I’m just keeping it real with you, I’m just being blunt.’
Previously, the pair teamed up on tracks like ‘Red Bentley’, ‘On God’ and ‘Mannequin College’. There are other posthumous singles releases of Juice WRLD before ‘Bad Boy’ that includes ‘Smile’ with The Weeknd and ‘Real Shit’ with Benny Blanco. ‘Legends Never Die’ is the first posthumous LP dropped in July by Juice WRLD’s estate.
