Ed Sheeran Teamed up with ‘Adolescence’ Director for The ‘One Shot with Ed Sheeran’

Ed Sheeran has collaborated with the ‘Adolescence’ director, Philip Barantini, for his next Netflix special, ‘One Shot with Ed Sheeran’. It is a short film that will take one through every corner of New York City. As of now, it is coming to known that the short film will premiere on 21^stNovember on Netflix. Ed is playing songs in various spots in the city. He also has shorts in subway cars to add a unique essence to his latest creation.

From one of the press releases, it is coming to known that ‘From impromptu performances on bustling sidewalks and subway cars, to intimate interactions with fans and passersby. Ed Sheeran’s journey through New York will be captured in a series of unforgettable moments, highlighting the pandemonium and excitement that follows’. This upcoming music presentation is recorded in one shot, and that is what makes this even more exciting for all. The director, Philip Barantini, has been part of every episode of ‘Adolescence’. In that Netflix series, he showed his caliber of capturing each moment in one shot. Thus, everyone is expecting that the latest music creation will also be quite interesting.

The Philip Barantini-directed series won a total of eight Emmy Awards. The director also won the ‘Best Directing For a Limited of Anthology Series or Movie’. After receiving the award, he said ‘To Netflix, thank you for trusting us with this mad idea. Mom, I said I’d make you proud. And I’ll continue to make you do so’.
