Music has a way of settling in your mind way before the listener actually gets to the meaning. Some songs move with a slow yet intensely powerful pull, and ‘New Highness’ is the perfect example of that. This song is the newest release by artist I’M JONJON, opening with a warm tone that sets the pace for the rest of the song. The production of the single leans more towards a steady rhythm that gives the song a relaxed vibe. One of the most appealing components of the song is its production, which builds each layer that rises smoothly and blends with the vocals perfectly.
However, what compels the listeners is the mellow voice of I’M JONJON. The artist has showcased brilliant control over his voice that blends calmly and beautifully with the beats. There is a soft weight in the delivery that provides the song with its character. The vocals feel so intimate from the very first time you hear them. On the other hand, the lyrics reach for something higher. Every verse on ‘New Highness’ is written precisely with hints of desire, escape, and a search for a better place. Every element of the song comes together to create a beautiful harmony that will pull you towards it over and over again. The song is available on SoundCloud, Spotify, and Apple Music and is accompanied by a video on YouTube. For more updates, follow the artist on Instagram, X, and TikTok.
