Making the summer season even more joyful, Emily Ryan releases her newest single, an upbeat anthem. Entitled ‘Discreet’, the song features Fivio Foreign, and it is a pop-rock song made for late nights and loud rooms. If you are looking for a track you can sing your heart out to while dancing to its rhythm, this is the absolute best. Featuring the Brooklyn rapper on the track is one of the best decisions the artist could have made for the track, as the combination of both their vocals on the composition has elevated it to the next level. The initial reaction to the song, as it has just released today, has been so good. It is quite literally the proof that this new single can easily be one of the artist’s most streamed records on her discography.
Unlike much of Ryan’s songwriting, this new track does not come from a place of personal experience. Instead, she had taken a different route this time, where she steps into the role of a character and builds the song around a story of going out at night and having fun. This is also what gave the lyrics their freedom, exploring emotions like fun and excitement of nightlife. The composition justifies the lyrics by keeping all the energy at the center. Produced by Ray Lennon and co-written with Curtis Richardson, this song brings pop-rock beats into a more contemporary production. The lively composition and upbeat verses make ‘Discreet’ one of those songs that stays in your playlist whenever you need a boost.
Fivio Foreign brings his own unique touch and adds another layer to the arrangement. His punchy rap bars create an enjoyable contrast with Ryan’s vocals. When it comes to the vocal delivery of the verses, the singer brings confidence and attitude that make the narrative even more attractive and enchanting for the listeners. Emily Ryan is a kind of singer who captures your attention from the very beginning, and that is exactly what happens with her newest single. Listen to Ryan’s latest release and enjoy a fresh summer anthem!
