The World Cup Final by FIFA Club became more glorious with a star lineup at the halftime Show. Starting from Coldplay to Daja Cat and J Balvin to Tems, everybody unified for the powerful performance that made the crowd go wild. The event took place just 52 miles away from Manhattan, and the quartet of music artists performed at the upper deck of MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

This event is produced by Global Citizen, and the show is curated by Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin. This is the first-ever debut of the FIFA Club World Cup Final Halftime Show, which took place on July 13. And the best part is that the event took place while Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) were fighting for the win.

FIFA’s newly planted grass for the football match was not going to get ruined by the performance, as the organizer made sure to come up with an innovative stage design that makes it look like it was floating above the stadium. This multilevel platform was highly creative, and the whole structure was established hundreds of feet above to make sure there were no game interruptions for the show. The staging structure for the whole stage took around 40,000 pounds of material.

The 15-minute party of the mini concert was kick-started by J Balvin with his smash hit “Mi Gente.” The Colombian star made sure to embrace his culture and country along with the backup dancer. Similarly, there was Tems to bring the authentic African vibes to the stage with the tender representation of “Love Me Jeje.”

Doja Knows exactly how to set the stage on fire, and she surely offered a blazing performance with her beautiful blue Adidas dress with custom Swarovski crystals that went perfectly with the rapping versatility. She also teased her upcoming album a little through that small window. The rapper recently shared after her performance, “I’m proud to represent America on this unique stage that will bring people from all corners of the world together.” And she further added, “I’m also extremely grateful to continue to support global education efforts by raising funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.”

Last but not least, there was Coldplay with their magical performance of “A Sky Full of Stars,” when a rainbow popped on the stage. This halftime show was historic and a highly powerful debut for FIFA Club. Chelsea won the night with a huge difference of 3-0 against PSG.
