Spotify‘s annual Best New Artist Grammy party took place on Thursday, and it was a complete blast for music lovers, featuring fresh new performances by emerging yet successful artists. It is one of the most distinct parties in 2026 that took place after last year’s cancellation due to wildfires in Eaton and Palisades.

This year’s list of performers included Lola Young, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, The Marias, Addison Rae, Sombr, and last but not least, Olivia Dean. Each of the artists got to perform 3 to 4 songs of their own in front of a niche crowd of 1,500 industry professionals, production executives, artists, influencers, and all kinds of creators.

The artists who came to enjoy the grand music party included Lewis Capaldi, Pusha T, Yungblud, and other fresh talents like Shaboozey and Benson Boone. KJ Apa and his alter ego, Mr. Fantasy, also received a shoutout from fellow artist Alex Warren.

The BNA nominee with other nominations in diversified categories, Leon Thomas, kick-started the show with a three-song set that offered a taste of his hit project, ‘Mutt’. Lola Young’s performance was perhaps more intimate with the presence of piano and acoustic guitars, along with lamps in the background. This was her first public performance after she collapsed last year on the stage of All Things Go in New York. Fans needed that “Post Sex Clarity” this year and hence, served.

One of the interesting facts of this year’s Spotify Annual Party is that there was not a single collaboration on stage, and artists kept things to themselves. It was much different from the 2024 party, where Jelly Roll brought Lainey Wilson, and Gracie Abrams was complemented by Noah Kahan.

Alex Warren did not fail to offer a captivating performance of his smash hit track ‘Ordinary,’ and The Marias also claimed the stage with their performance of “No One Noticed.” Nothing can beat the beautiful in-synch choreography and powerful performance by KATSEYE, who offered their artistic flair through three of their most hit tracks.

Sombr previously joked about not being in the party for the last year, and this year, he had to go all out with a loud and energetic set with “12 to 12”, ‘I Barely Know Her ‘, and “Back to Friends.” Addison Rae slayed hard on stage with an all-white attire that made people drink more ‘Diet Pepsi’. If “Fame is a Gun”, then she knows how to shoot!

Last but not least, there was Olivia Dean to captivate her fans with classy performances with her romantic hit singles, namely “So Easy to Fall in Love” and “Man I Need.” Surely, Spotify’s Annual Party made the perfect mood for the upcoming Grammy Weekend Ahead.
