“You may have noticed there’s more cameras than usual here,” the ‘Bad Guy’ singer said from the stage on Saturday. “I can’t say much about it, but what I can say is I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it’s gonna be in 3D.” “So, take that as you will,” Eilish teased. “These four shows here in Manchester, you and me, are part of the thing that I am making.” “And also, I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit for four days in a row,” the artist said with her usual cheeky laugh.

Eilish is now on her Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour, which kicked off in late 2024 and runs until November 2025. The tour supports her album, ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’. This is the third studio album by Billie Eilish, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. She is performing across the globe, and more dates were added in May. The final shows will take place in San Francisco.

On stage in Manchester, Billie wore black-and-blue plaid pants and a Hit Me Hard and Soft jersey, matching the tour’s vibe. The crowd responded with loud cheers as she moved through her set. Each stop on the tour brings something new, and her fans are showing up in full force. The mix of visuals and sound has made this tour one of her biggest yet. As she keeps adding dates and surprising fans, it is clear Billie is fully enjoying her momentum.

James Cameron has been deeply involved in the Avatar series, with Avatar (2009), The Way of Water (2022), and Fire and Ash (set to release on December 19, 2025). A fourth film is planned for 2029. Cameron is a three-time Oscar winner and earned major honors for his film Titanic in 1998, including best picture and best director.

Now the director is teaming up with Billie Eilish on a new 3D project. Though the title has not been revealed, Eilish hinted in Manchester that it may include live performance footage. This marks her return to the concert film work following the 2021 movie ‘Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles’. Fans are eager to see how this collaboration blends Cameron’s visuals with Eilish’s music.
