Dua Lipa, Massive Attack, Primal Screen, Annie Lennox, and many other music artists are uniting in solidarity with Gaza. They have signed an open letter to British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and urged to “end U.K. complicity” in the ongoing war situation.
The Israel-Hamas war has already come to a complicated situation where most countries are unable to change the internal conflicts, and it is better if the British Government stays out of it without escalating the situation. The letter from the artists was organized by the refugee charity organization Choose Love it brought some massive accusations.

Last week, government officials including Sir Keir along with his Canadian and French counterparts have warned Israel that they are willing to take “concrete actions” due to the expansion of military operations in Gaza. The letter accused the Government saying, “You can’t call it ‘intolerable’, yet do nothing.”
The letter further reads, “The world is watching and history will not forget. The children of Gaza cannot wait another minute. Prime minister, what will you choose? Complicity in war crimes, or the courage to act?” The United Nations has already warned Israel that around 2.1 million population in Gaza are facing severe issues like catastrophic levels of hunger and if the war does not stop, it will turn into another holocaust.

On May 27, around 47 people were injured again while getting aid but Israel claimed that those were merely “warning shots” which were fired in the air. The letter emphasized, “Those who survive starvation wake up to bombs falling on them.” It further continues, “Violence stamped with U.K. inaction — flown with parts shipped from British factories to Israel, could be obliterating families in seconds. Each arms shipment makes our country directly complicit in their deaths.”
According to the official reports, Israel has killed more than 54,000 Palestinians till now and Gaza’s Health Ministry confirmed the fact that most of them were women and children. More than 300 celebrity personalities from the music and entertainment industry have raised their voice against this war mentality through a letter to the Government.
