Miley Cyrus is officially joining the Avatar universe with a brand-new track called ‘Dream As One’ for the upcoming Avatar: Fire and Ash movie. The song was created specifically for the third chapter of James Cameron’s sci-fi saga, and fans will get to hear it in full on 14th November. Miley teamed up with Andrew Wyatt, Mark Ronson, and Simon Franglen to bring this one to life, and it will play during the end credits of the film. She teased the track on social media with a short audio clip, giving fans a first taste of the vibe. Miley also shared that the song was inspired in part by the destructive fires that swept through Los Angeles earlier this year, adding a very real emotional connection behind the music.

Miley Cyrus is lining up a big moment with her new track for the Avatar: Fire and Ash soundtrack, but fans will have to wait a little longer for the full package. While her single ‘Dream As One’ arrives next month, the complete soundtrack for the movie will be released on 12th December. It will feature a sweeping score by Simon Franglen.

Miley joining a blockbuster franchise like Avatar feels huge, but she is no stranger to stepping into the film world with her music. Just last winter, she dropped ‘Beautiful That Way’ for The Last Showgirl, the upcoming film starring Pamela Anderson. At the same time, she has been having one of her most creative years yet. She had already released her ninth studio album, ‘Something Beautiful’, along with a companion film that showed how much she loves blending visuals with sound. This new song continues that streak, proving Miley is still pushing herself into fresh and cinematic territory.
The first trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash landed earlier this year, and fans’ excitement broke the ceiling. Some loved returning to Pandora, while others felt the teaser did not show enough to get them hyped. Still, the story promises a lot. Jake and Neytiri are back, facing deep loss and big challenges as they meet a new Na’vi tribe. This new group is led by Varang, played by Oona Chaplin, who has teamed up with the returning villain Quaritch. That twist alone feels like drama is coming. James Cameron has already said this will be the longest Avatar movie yet, and it hits UK cinemas on 19th December.
