Last year’s epic hit single ‘Whatever You Want’ will be included in the new album. The music video featured Mac DeMarco, something to admire even more in this video. That was the first time they were brought under public light after their last album ‘Intriguer’ in 2010. 10 years is a long time to pile up good music for the folks who share the same interest in music. They are drumming up about their forthcoming album set to release in June with a little tease from the second single ‘To The Island’. They released it just after Valentine’s week with a blast of eerie and spooky soundscape that reminds of a cold place. It is coupled with beguiling slow-pop downtempo and psychedelic rhythms that mark their genre-bending identity in the industry. They are shifting from their basic style to something more raspy and contemporary in sonic flavors. The music world has almost forgotten about Crowded House because of their long, silent hiatus from the music industry. They are again banging their drums to their legit fans because they have planned a surprise. After spending almost a decade without any new music releases to talk about, the erudite band has announced to drop another long-anticipated album ‘Dreamers Are Waiting’ on June 4.

Crowded House has even made a metaphorical music video of the song that is driven by the uncanny synergy of the bandmates. The camera follows the band members excursing through the wild woods of an unknown part of the world full of risk and serendipity. They found a secret island bandroom to capture their energy in all the bright colors. The video has embarked on an epochal journey, carrying the important mark of change in their musicianship. They were fortunate enough to kick start the recording of the new tracks in their studio just before the ominous spread of flu took place. They will be touring New Zealand for their lively concert after the pandemic in March.
