Dua Lipa Declared Her Engagement with Callum Turner, The Sweetest Brit Couple

Pop singer Dua Lipa is embracing her love life as the artist has finally announced her engagement with actor Callum Turner. She said it’s “a really special feeling”. Dua is currently 29 years old and she has been dating Turner for almost a year and a half who is currently 35 years old.

Callum Turner is one of the finest actors in the entertainment industry who starred in Fantastic Beasts and Masters of the Air. The artist also got nominated at the Bafta Awards for his amazing performance in The Capture by BBC One.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Dua Lipa said, “Yeah, we’re engaged,” and further added, “It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling.”

The rumors of their engagement started back in Christmas last year when the singer posted a picture on Instagram that also showed a ring on her hand. She also said that Turner had been specially digging for that ring after talking to his mother and sister. Now, isn’t that sweet? Dua added, “It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”

While they have not mentioned any date for their wedding yet, it is fair to say that they are being most favorite Brit couple for the fans right now. Dua Lipa is looking forward to ending her world music tour first which is scheduled to end in December with dates in Mexico. Similarly, Turner is also busy in his shoots. The actor is currently playing a lead role in Neuromancer which is a sci-fi series by Apple TV that is adapted from a novel by William Gibson which was published back in 1984.

There is a chance that the wedding will take place next year. However, fans are wishing to witness it as soon as possible. There is no rush as Dua Lipa said, “We’re just enjoying this period,” and further explained her excitement by adding, “I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I’m like, ‘Oh, what would I wear?'”
